07-28 Sleep Over Too

Gabe went over to spend the night with Cranston.  I'm sure there was lots of video gaming and nerf wars.

07-24 Food Pantry

We helped out with the food pantry set up again.  Got Mic to come along this time. Realized that Gabe and I don't really work well together.

07-19 Camp Friend

Gabe's good friend from Camp Bandina came for a visit.  Matt lives in Houston but his dad came to Austin for a conference so he dropped Matt off here for a sleepover.  I guess the boys had fun.  The were on the computer most of the time.  I tried to get them to go swimming but neither was interested.  They did take a break to have a nerf gun shoot out.  Wish I had taken a picture of that.

07-17 Food Pantry

Gabe and I went over to Leander Church of Christ today to help unload the truck and set up all the food for their food pantry today.  It was fun to help out.  Mic had a "headache" so she didn't join us.

07-16 Jumpstreet

Took the kids to Jumpstreet with some friends from our homeschool group. Jumpstreet is all about jumping on trampolines.  Gabe enjoyed playing dodge ball.  He's the blur in the top right. I sent Mic to take a picture of him. smh.  Should have done it myself.  Then Mic tried out the bucking horse.  Glad I got this shot right as it started cause she fell off immediately after.

06-27 Swimming

Took Gabe, Mic, and friends to the pool.  I think it got to 108 this day.

06-25 Car Repair

Gabe is out helping Dad do a repair on the car.  Last night when I went to pick up the kids smoke was coming from the engine when I got into the church parking lot.  Thankfully several men were there to help me out.  They put the hose back on the radiator and then filled it with water.  We just got a new radiator a year ago.  Currently Brian and Gabe are out checking things out.  Looking for a leak and checking the hose.  Poor old car.  Really need it to last longer.

Also they are out during the hottest time of day.  Had to get it done though.

06-24 Dropping Off

Dropped both kids off for a youth devo at church.  Michaela's first teen activity.
Mic thought me weird to be taking a photo and Gabe doesn't like to face the sun.

Gabe made a desk out of the game box and has a pretty interesting set up so he can watch one of his anime shows.

06-16 He's Back!

All campers arrived home safely and happy!!

The Medina River where we baptized Gabe.

06-10 Bye Gabe

Gabe headed off for Camp Bandina this morning after services.  We also said farewell to the youth minister.  He's headed to a preaching job in Colorado.  Really wish we were headed to a new life as well.

Already missing this little guys hugs.

06-09 Packing

Gabe packing for his week at Camp Bandina. Seems to be trying really hard to bring along what he'll miss most.

05-16 Library

Ok, so I did't take a picture at the library.  Didn't think about it. Would have been cool though.  I do however have a picture of what took place when we got home from the library.  Gabe went straight to his computer.  He did pick out 3 books though,  Beyonders: A world without heroes. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And Monkey See, Monkey Don't: a Cyberia novel.    Michaela, the book worm, started reading as soon as we got home. She was half way through one of her 6 books after about 45 minutes of reading.  She picked out Sleepover Sleuths, The bungalow mystery(Nancy Drew!) The Humming Room, Beswitched, and two anime books.

04-12 Basketball Injury

Gabe's first basketball injury.  Finger hit with incoming basketball.  It was swollen last night when I took the picture and he didn't like moving it because of the pain.  Today it looked much better and he was using it fine.

Sadly another lost photo.

P.S.  I made Brian shoot me in the bum so we could see if the squirrel was feeling it. The squirrel seemed not to care.

P.S.S Yes. It hurt.
